La Valeur de Revolt

It all started a morning while locked up in my studio during peyi lock in Potoprens working on a couple of pieces inspired a a dear friend’s sons and i wiped my hands on a board and these pieces came into the fold. They are inspired by the need to say out loud NO to the powers that try to oppress whether it is in form of governments, organizations or individuals tramping on or trumping the rights of others to live free and happy everywhere in the world. Although they were directly created by what is going in Haiti, there is resonance with the larger world saying that we need to breath and we need our planet to breath. Protest is a right, one that can be manifested in different forms.
